Hello!

How are you doing?

My name’s EvaD and I am the maker/designer/fabric purchaser and everything else at Soleil Dee. Based in Greater Manchester I squirrel away in my home studio (a. k. a the kitchen table) sewing everything you’ll find on my website.

My love for wax prints came from rummaging through my parents stash from visits to Nigeria, where my dad is originally from. I’ve been sewing for a few years now and decided I had quite enough bags for myself so I gave my first market a go and loved it!

My aim is to bring affordable brightness to these wet and grey days.

I’ve a huge stash of fabrics, patterns and colours so if you want something made with a certain fabric then get in touch. I love making unique pieces.

One question I’m always asked is why Soleil Dee? My name came from my oldest friend; back in secondary school she would call me sunny D and with a little tweaking my craft name was formed. We’re still best friends to this day!
